PENGARUH TUNJANGAN SERTIFIKASI DAN MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP KUALITAS PELAYANAN PENDIDIKAN PADA GURU SMA FRATER MAKASSAR

Abstrak

This study aims to examine the influence of certification allowances and work motivation on the quality of educational services provided by teachers at Frater Senior High School Makassar. The study was conducted because the quality of teachers' educational services still varies, although most teachers have received certification allowances. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the role of certification allowances and work motivation in improving the quality of educational services. This research employed a quantitative approach using an explanatory research design. The entire population of 33 teachers at Frater Senior High School Makassar was selected as respondents through the total sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that certification allowances have a positive and significant effect on the quality of educational services. Work motivation also has a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, both variables contribute significantly to improving the quality of educational services provided by teachers at Frater Senior High School Makassar. The findings imply that improving the quality of educational services depends not only on teachers' financial welfare but also on their work motivation. Therefore, the school and the foundation should manage certification allowances effectively while continuously enhancing teachers' motivation through a supportive work environment, recognition, and sustainable professional development.
