PENGARUH POLITICAL BACKGROUND DAN KOMETENSI TERHADAP KINERJA ANGGOTA DPRD KOTA BALIKPAPAN

Abstrak

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of Political Background and Competence on the Performance Legislator of DPRD Balikpapan City. The sampling technique uses total sampling with 63 respondents. The research method uses quantitative descriptive approach and hypothesis testing using descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression, t-test and f-test. The result of the research shows that: (1) Political Background has positive and significant effect on the Performance Legislator of Balikpapan City; (2) Competence has positive and significant effect on the Performance Legislator of Balikpapan City; and (3) simultaneously Political Background and Competence have positive and significant effect on the Performance Legislators of Balikpapan City.
