PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN DAN PELATIHAN VOKASI TERHADAP SIKAP DAN PERILAKU NARAPIDANA DI RUTAN KELAS IIB KABUPATEN PANGKAJENE

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the effects of vocational education and training on changes in inmates’ attitudes and behaviors at the Class IIB Detention Center of Pangkajene Regency. This quantitative study employed a correlational approach involving 72 inmates selected from a population of 260. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that vocational education significantly affects changes in inmates’ attitudes and behaviors (β = 0.570; p = 0.022), contributing 20.3%, while vocational training also has a significant effect (β = 0.450; p = 0.001), contributing 16%. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect changes in inmates’ attitudes and behaviors (p = 0.035), with a combined contribution of 36%. These findings indicate that vocational education and training play an important role in supporting positive behavioral changes and inmate rehabilitation.
